Broome Dusters Heritage Trucker Hat
For those who grew up in Broome County, the Broome Dusters were more than just a hockey team—they were a piece of local legend. Playing in the NAHL from 1973–1977, the Dusters became one of the most iconic franchises in Binghamton hockey history, with the league itself helping inspire the cult-classic hockey film Slap Shot.
This hat is especially personal to me. I grew up watching the Dusters as a kid, and now, decades later, I’m fortunate enough to still lace up and play hockey with one of the original Dusters players. That connection to the team and its history made creating this hat something truly meaningful.
Because of that, I refused to cut corners.
This isn’t just another generic cap, it’s built on a premium OTTO low-profile trucker platform and finished with details worthy of the Dusters name.
The front logo features a high-end FLEXSTYLE emblem, offering a cutting-edge, dimensional look and feel through a premium embossed finish that gives the design incredible depth and texture unlike standard embroidery or patches. To complete the look, each hat also features a United States flag on the side, adding an extra touch of pride and premium detailing.
Premium Features Include:
- Premium FLEXSTYLE Embossed Front Emblem – Unique raised, dimensional finish for a bold modern look
- Side United States Flag Detail – Added premium accent with patriotic styling
- Structured 6-Panel Construction – Holds its shape for a clean, professional fit
- Low Profile Crown – Relaxed, casual modern fit
- Breathable Mesh Back – Enhanced airflow for all-day comfort
- Premium Snapback Closure – Durable and adjustable for the perfect fit

Whether you remember watching the Dusters pack the arena, appreciate the golden age of minor league hockey, or simply love vintage hockey culture, this hat was made for those who understand what the Dusters meant to Broome County.
A tribute to local hockey history. Built with pride. Made for those who remember.
